The main thing in CV gameplay is what you damge and when you damage, And in strike loadout gameplay you have to think how you damage someone, Situational awereness, (Not the captain skill) is essential.Warning. And in the end I make only 40k damage, while still being more useful than in the game where I did 100K damage. I'm currently playing with Lexington and there are games where I reach +100k ish damage, and games where I'm doing "more important stuff" Miss a bomb drops on DD, and leave one squad to keep it spotted. Or if you feel that it's the best thing to do you can go and snipe him, but it'll take forever to go around the map to him and his fighter will probably kill a lot of your planes even if you suceded, so make sure it is worth it. Try to lure him with a squad on one side of the map and attack on the other side with the rest of your strike force. If you're 0/1/2 and you're against an AS (2/0/1) Bogue, you need to hide your planes from him as long as you can. Dumb damage whoring isn't any good for the win.ġ/1/0 is ofc the most versatile setup, however playing strike setup as you're already doing should learn you how to be tricky. See ennemy ships, identify the one who is the most threatening of them all at this given moment and go for him if you can afford to. This isn't a Bogue thing, this is something any CV should aim at. Helping your friendly König to win his brawl by damaging the Fuso he's facing will always be more valuable than to go rack up a kill from a guy sitting in his spawn. ![]() Bombing a DD to reset cap and keep him spotted instead of rearming may be better than dealing 35k to a BB. ![]() It's about dealing those damages to the right target at the right time.
